In this episode we start off with a visit to Acton Bridge for some freight and passenger action. Next we visit Fairbourne and Barmouth in West Wales. Next we move to the North East, and see 70010 and 70003 on the Boulby to Tees Dock and Middlesbrough Potash circuit. Next we head to the Tyne Valley railway between Newcastle and Carlisle, and catch a few of the LNER Azumas on diversion there. Then it's back to Wales as we catch 66414 on 6B80 Stoke Gifford to Machen. We see this infrequent train at Lower Machen before catching it run around at Machen itself. Lieutenant Pigeon's Nigel Fletcher joins me for this train. We then catch a few different trains ascending and descending the Lickey Incline at Vigo Bridge. 66593 is seen passing Whitehouse level crossing outside Middlesbrough on a service from Tees Dock to Felixstowe, before we head to Bishops Itchington on the Chiltern main line. We end with 43058 and 43059 on a test train to Carnforth seen at Hest Bank, and then see the return working at Forton.
